DIBAO electric motorcycle warranty policy

This document guides the warranty implementation for DIBAO electric motorcycles. Please read carefully before use to ensure your rights when claiming vehicle warranty.

I. Scope of Application and Locations

This policy applies to DIBAO-branded two-wheeled electric motorcycles nationwide. Warranty services are carried out at DIBAO's authorized distribution dealers.

II. Warranty Coverage

• Warranty coverage includes the repair or replacement of damaged parts and components caused by material defects or manufacturing and assembly flaws, provided that the product is used and maintained in accordance with the instructions.
• Replacement parts within the warranty scope are genuine parts provided free of charge by DIBAO.
• If the repair or replacement of parts can resolve a defect covered under the warranty, DIBAO is not obligated to retrieve or replace the entire product.

III. Warranty Conditions

A product or component is considered for warranty service when it fully meets the following conditions:

1. Belongs to the eligible warranty items and remains within the warranty period.
2. The damage is determined to be caused by the manufacturer or the assembly process.
3. Retains its original shape, without deformation or warping.
4. Has information and records proving that all preventive measures recommended by DIBAO in the user manual have been fully implemented at DIBAO dealers or distributors.

IV. Warranty Period and Forms of Warranty

For batteries eligible for warranty: a replacement with a new one is applied during the first 12 months; the remaining months are subject to "equivalent warranty" terms. Alternatively, regional individual policies may apply, but the duration shall not be shorter than the specified period above.

V. Out-of-Warranty Damages and Services

The following cases are not covered by the warranty:

1. Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, adjustments, accessory wiring, or design modifications, including changes to power, speed, structure, or bypassing vehicle components.
2. Products that have been repaired at facilities outside the DIBAO system; use of non-genuine parts or components not specified by the manufacturer.
3. Damage caused by insects, animals, acts of cutting, or mechanical impacts causing components to swell, deform, or warp.
4. Damage caused by natural disasters, floods, fires, chemicals, acts of vandalism, or external impacts beyond the manufacturer's control.
5. Damage caused by improper storage, such as leaving the vehicle or components in damp places, under direct sunlight, or near high heat sources for extended periods.
6. Damage caused by accidents, operating the vehicle in flooded conditions, or impacts from soil, rocks, sharp objects, and other foreign materials.
7. Natural wear and tear during use, such as worn brake pads or a gradual decrease in battery capacity.
8. Damage caused by failure to implement preventive measures, failure to perform periodic maintenance, or repairs and maintenance not following the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Using the wrong specified voltage or causing electrical short circuits, fires, or explosions due to operation and use contrary to the instructions.
10. Components with broken manufacturer seals or those that have been disassembled.

VI. Disclaimer of Liability

If users arbitrarily change technical specifications, modify the vehicle's appearance, or perform unauthorized repairs without the consent of DIBAO Vietnam, the product will no longer be under warranty. Customers assume full responsibility for the vehicle's safety after modifications and must ensure that the vehicle's use complies with Vietnamese law. DIBAO Vietnam shall not be liable for any consequences arising from such unauthorized modifications.

All risks arising from the replacement or use of non-genuine parts (especially batteries and chargers) are not the responsibility of DIBAO Vietnam.
